Nomad Construction Lab: taking the construction site to where vocations are born

On 13 October 2026, the Lab’Chantier Nomade (Nomad Construction Lab) received the Major Projects Division Innovation Award in the “Talent and Management” category. Devised by Gabriela V. Santa Cruz Bustamante, Project Director for the Cartagena LPG project at Entrepose Contracting, the concept proposes converting a container into a mobile, hands-on mini construction site. Its ambition: to let young people experience technical careers before choosing their path.

Cryogenic Tanks: Designing a Mission-Critical Industrial System for the Molecules of Today and Tomorrow

From a distance, a cryogenic tank looks like a large storage tank. Up close, it’s something else entirely: a critical industrial system where a design flaw can have consequences over forty years of operation. At −162 °C for LNG and as low as −253 °C for liquid hydrogen, matter no longer behaves as it does at room temperature—and each molecule follows its own rules.
