The construction of this fourth cryogenic tank forms part of a broader effort to strengthen LNG storage capacity and improve the flexibility and resilience of energy infrastructure in Northern Europe.
To deliver the project from design through to commissioning, Entrepose Contracting is drawing on its full range of expertise: execution engineering, civil works, cryogenic structures and HSE excellence.
Before breaking ground, Entrepose Contracting’s teams carried out a series of preliminary studies essential to the project’s success. Soil investigations, ground improvement works and detailed design studies were conducted to ensure the stability and long-term performance of the future tank.
These analyses made it possible to anticipate geotechnical constraints and optimise the planning of the foundation works accordingly. This preparation phase represents a critical technical investment, as its rigour directly supports the quality and reliability of every subsequent stage.
The official launch of detailed engineering and execution studies marked the operational start of the project. This milestone mobilised the design teams and secured the first long-lead items required for the construction of the foundation slab and main structures.
This transition to detailed engineering marked the shift from the study phase to active project execution, with concrete commitments on materials, methods and schedules.
