About us

Global industrial manufacturer since 1935

As a subsidiary of VINCI Construction Grands Projets, the company supports its clients in implementing strategic projects, utilising a high-level, integrated EPC approach.

For over 90 years, Entrepose Contracting has built up recognised expertise in the design and construction of complex energy infrastructure. Our work is not limited to building storage facilities. We design and build integrated industrial complexes capable of incorporating the structures, utilities, critical equipment and interfaces necessary for the smooth operation of a terminal or a complete energy infrastructure.

We operate in the most demanding environments, from the Canadian Far North to the Sahara Desert, working towards decarbonisation, energy security and industrial performance.

Entrepose Contracting’s certifications and accreditations reflect a concrete and comprehensive commitment to quality, reliability, management, team safety and environmental performance.

Industrial integration that reduces interfaces and secures performance

We offer a comprehensive turnkey EPC solution covering the entire scope of works, from unloading to dispatch and delivery, thereby delivering economies of scale and reducing risks for each project by eliminating interfaces between work packages. We generally draw on the expertise of sister companies within the VINCI Group, covering a wide range of specialist disciplines.

Our integrated model minimises interface risks:

  • Entrepose Industries (Dunkirk) manufactures spheres, bullets and critical components,
  • CMPEA carries out engineering studies (calculations, sizing).

Cryogenic storage & terminals: a legacy supporting the energy transition

With over 90 years of experience and a track record of major projects in cryogenic tanks and terminals, we are supporting the energy transition with robust solutions.

For LNG, our expertise primarily covers cryogenic storage tanks and the associated infrastructure required to develop complete terminals.

For hydrogen, CO₂, and other new molecules, our expertise extends further to include processing, liquefaction, and packaging facilities, depending on the scope of the project.

Our QHSE commitment is underpinned by a certified QHSE management system and a clear objective: Zero Accidents.

About us

History

Since 1935: from pipelines to LNG terminals

Entrepose Contracting’s history dates back to 1935, with the creation of ENTREPOSE, initially specialised in pipeline installation for water and gas networks. This expertise formed the foundation of know-how that expanded and strengthened over the decades.

From the 1950s onward, the company expanded internationally (with its first contracts in the Middle East). In the 1960s and 1970s, it supported the growth of the oil and gas sector and stood out for its early turnkey projects—laying the groundwork for the EPC model (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction).

From the 1980s, Entrepose structured and diversified (nuclear, industrial infrastructure), leading to the creation of Entrepose Contracting in 2001. In 2007, integration into the VINCI Group strengthened the company’s financial base and positioned it among major construction players.

Today, this legacy translates into a clear DNA: a strong site culture, mastery of the value chain (from design to commissioning), and a proven ability to deliver large-scale EPC projects in the most demanding environments.
