Description of the Project

The Wheatstone LNG Liquefaction Project includes the engineering, procurement, supply, construction and pre‑commissioning of two full containment LNG storage tanks, each with a net working capacity of 150,000 m³.

Final Owner: Wheatstone LNG a joint venture of Chevron, Kufpec, Woodside Petroleum, Tepco and Kyushu Electric Power Company

Work done and added value of our solution

  • Tank Type: Full containment LNG storage
  • Structure: Post‑tensioned concrete outer containment and 9% nickel steel inner tank
  • Dimensions: Outer tank diameter 85 m, height 47 m
  • Additional Scope: Two condensate storage tanks, each with a capacity of 120,000 m³

This project ensures safe and efficient LNG storage for one of Australia’s major liquefaction facilities, supporting global energy supply and long‑term reliability.
