Sébastien BOUCHET, EVT Grain Project Manager, tells:

First and foremost, a big well done to everyone for having completed the Inner Tank with the last Shell C10 plate installation recently.

A special well done to Jean, Idriss and his team for their leadership and supervision on this, to Ben and Steve for their tireless engagement to keep the safety standards high in a challenging environment and David and Ian, Leela, Mohammed for their unwavering commitment to guarantee an outstanding quality control.  I can’t list everyone here but obviously this message is addressed to you all for your individual efforts.

We have much to be proud of when considering few impressive figures with almost 3,000 tons of steel erected,  requiring about 500 complex lifts, with 27 km of welded joint and more than 100,000 blocks of foamglass installed.

So, thanks to all of you for your hard work.

We still have many challenges ahead of us, starting with the hydrotest, the external structural and piping and the electrical and instrumentation installation works. We have a lot to look forward to and I trust all of us to continue working as a team in a safe, professional, collaborative, and productive manner to the satisfaction of our Client.
